After being asked to guest post by Mohamad Al Karbi, I’m now nominated for the Real Neat Blog Award by Renata Fernandez. I’m so happy that I have new friends on my blog page! Thank you! 🙂
Renata’s site is about mental health and feminism. I strongly agree that we should support each other, especially those who are suffering from mental illness. We should never look at them as weak (as others sometimes do).
I am greatful for the nomination though it took me a while to understand what I needed to do because I was so gobsmacked. ❤
She said that the award is designed for people who have a ‘real neat blog’ – so I guess mines ‘neat’ 🙂

Here are my answers to Renata’s questions
How organized are you?
–> I think I’m in between. I’m organized when I feel like it but there are also times that I just don’t care. I do DIYs to organize my things. I like to keep them looking clean and pristine but sometimes, the potato coach in me gets the better of me.
What do you usually have for breakfast?
–> I wake up in the afternoon so I really don’t have time for it.:)
Do you appreciate John Mayer’s music?
–> Yes, I do. However, I only know one music by him: You body is a Wonderland.
What’s your favorite local kind of music?
–> I like pop rock, pop, rnb, reggae, etc. I usually appreciate different music genres.
How would describe your neighborhood in 3 words? And where is it?
–> Noisy, children, and pets. It’s located in Makati, Philippines.
Do you know anyone who suffers from a mental illness (depression, bipolar disorder etc.)? What’s it like for you to deal with them?
–> My co-worker used to be depressed. She inflicted pain on herself by slashing her arms. Though we didn’t know the reason why, we think it was because her marriage didn’t go well. They separated and their only child was living with her. No monetary support from the father. It was difficult dealing with her because her mood drastically changes from one to another. However, I’m happy to say that she has improved now. We’re able to joke around her and she involves herself already with office activities. She’s very much into K-pop and anything Korean so we usually use that to start small talks with her.
What topic of conversation do you enjoy the most?
–>Almost anything under the sun. I don’t have preference but at least something I can relate to. 🙂
Questions for my nominees
1. What do you like most about your country?
2. What place you’d like to visit and why?
